After the blood is drawn, the DWI investigation is complete and the officer will start the paperwork to book you in jail.

What you should expect
- Officer may let you keep your phone before booking you into jail
What you should do
- Contact who you need to contact to let them know you will be arrested

What you should expect
- If the officer doesn’t allow you to keep your phone, once you are booked in jail, you will be entitled to a phone call
What you should do
- Commit a phone number to memory so you can make the phone call
Pre-trial Bond
What you should expect
- Pre Trial Services, will talk to you to see if you are eligible for a pre trial bond
What you should do
- Answer their questions politely
- Do not discuss the facts of your case
Only answer questions to establish your identity. Any other questions you answer can and will be used against you
Release
What you should expect
- If approved by Pre-Trial services, you will be released on a Pre-Trial Bond on your own recognisance and not be required to make a bond payment
What you should do
- Be sure to understand the conditions of your release
